Day 3: Volcano Hike and Hot Springs

Hello friends and family! This is part 2 of day 3 in Costa Rica. After the wonderful lunch we had a small break where we then continued with our day. We were going on a nature hike through the rain forest. Everyone was very excited to see the scenic view of the volcano and see the different wildlife. Unfortunately, it rained while we were hiking, but that did not slow us down too much. We continued our hike while seeing monkeys, birds and various trees and their uses. The hike was a very good workout. Once we made it to the viewing point, we witnessed a breath taking view of the mountainous terrain that surrounded the volcano. We took many pictures and then were off to eat dinner at our next activity.  The next activity was going to hot springs. It was amazing! There were many different pools with many temperatures. Of course we had to try them all! Beautiful waterfalls and relaxing hot springs were a great way to end the day. Also there were three fun water slides that looked vey intimidating. But eventually everyone conquered all of them and had fun while doing it. This was a great day and I hope to continue having fun on the days to come.
