Pacific Northwest June 13, 2011

The past few days have been very exciting. On day three of our trip we hiked through Olympic National park and saw a waterfall that would take your breath away. At first the group was a little upset about the discomfort in our tired feet, but the beauty around us distracted from the pain.

On day four, we had a very unique experience. We took two hikes through Hurricane Ridge. It was amaZing as we hiked through snow covered mountains. The group had a lot of fun having snowball fights and rolling through the snow. We hiked above the clouds and ate lunch in the middle of a raincloud. Eating lunch and looking at the view was breathtaking. Seeing the white top mountains around us was a once in a life time experience. The end of our hike was especially significant because we had the pleasure of seeing a deer with her two babies walking along the ridge.

The group is having such a wonderful time and is looking forward to the rest of the trip.

Best regards,

Betty Michels, Jennifer Kondas and the group
