Laos June 10, 2011

Yesterday the kids rode elephants and fed them after their 2 hour ride. One student exclaimed, "This is the best thing I've ever done in my life!" Today they made the 2 hour journey to the village and I just spoke with them. Everyone is settled in and ready to begin the service tomorrow. Bangkok was fun and they enjoyed the tour of the Grand Palace but Luang Prabang was fantastic. They walked around the city enjoying the multiple Buddhist monasteries and had lunch in a French bakery run by an American. From now on they will be eating Lao village food.
