Laos July 8, 2011
The weary travelers arrived in Bangkok around 11 pm last night after stops in Tokyo and Chicago. We met our guide at the airport and got into the hotel around midnight. After a quick night's sleep, we met our guide for breakfast at 7 and took a walking tour of Bangkok, which included visits to the Wat Pho temple, the Grand Palace, the National Museum, and a ride on a tuk tuk (three wheeled motorized taxi). We are resting for a few hours this afternoon and then heading out for dinner and a boat cruise. Tomorrow morning we fly to Luang Prabang Laos.

The group is great! Everyone arrived safely yesterday and we had a fun
night getting to know each other better and taking a tour of DG.
Everyone seems to settling in well. Excited to have them here. Thank
you!
Today the focus was island history and cultural and the kids had a
blast pier jumping! Tomorrow we meet with fish and wildlife re the sea
turtle program as well the St Croix Environmental Association to learn
about reef restoration.

Fiji Senior Trip June 1, 2011
Wow! The dive with sharks was absolutely AMAZING! We saw nurse sharks, 4 lemon sharks, 12 black tip sharks and 10 white tip sharks all just a few feet from us. Tomorrow we will be packing up and leaving Nandi for our torturous 30 hour trek back to Virginia Beach. We are all physically exhausted but mentally refreshed from our experience here with the Fijian culture.
